Jesus said that, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." There are many good people that have walked this earth, but there has only been one way to heaven.

The Bible tells us that, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
It also says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Therefore, being a gift it must be free, not earned, not donated, not inherited...

Romans 3:23 -
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
There is no avoiding the fact that "all" means all. No one can truthfully say that they have never sinned. And sin in any form or shape seperates us from God.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Most everyone has heard this, if not memorized it, but we must realize that God not only gave his Son, but that the Son went. Jesus willingly gave his life and his blood to atone for the sins of all mankind that we might be restored to God.

Some have said that Jesus was 50% man and 50% God, but on the contrary he was 100% God, while being 100% man. Jesus was and is the promised Messiah of the Old Testament; being born of a virgin, crucified, and raised from the dead. Not only did his blood atone for our sins, but his resurrection guaranteed that his children would not face eternal death.

Some would like to make getting to heaven more difficult than it has to be. We already know that the truth is free, which leaves the question, "How do I get it?"
The Bible says that, "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Notice that at the end of that sentence is a PERIOD. All we must do is call to Jesus and ask.

If you sincerely want a personal relationship with Jesus, pray this prayer from your heart to God's heart:

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins, and save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation, and I accept your free gift of eternal life."
